The Adjustable Bench.
Solid ash, brass hinges, six positions from flat to incline. The bench most of our rooms are planned around — and the one piece that has to work perfectly every time.
A bench takes more abuse than anything else in a gym. Ours is jointed in solid ash, hinged and locked in brass, and upholstered in a firm, wipe-clean leather that does not slide under load.
Six positions cover flat pressing, incline work and seated movements. The frame folds nothing away and hides nothing — it simply stands, and lasts.

The workshop
Wood, because it lasts.
Material
Solid hardwood, joined and oiled. No veneer, no MDF, no plastic. It takes knocks, and it takes a sanding and a fresh coat of oil a decade from now.
Hardware
Brass and steel where the piece needs to pivot, lock or carry load. Fitted by hand, and replaceable without replacing the piece.
Lifetime
Every piece is made to be repaired, not replaced. It is the quiet reason our builds carry roughly one-fifth the carbon of a commercial-grade fit-out.

What load is the bench rated for?
The frame is jointed in solid ash and locked in brass, and every bench is load-tested in the workshop before it leaves. Tell us how you train and we will confirm the rating for your use.
Can I choose the leather colour?
Yes. Upholstery colour and timber are chosen with you as part of the room design.
Is there a flat-only version?
Yes. A fixed flat bench in the same timber is built to order, and is often paired with the adjustable one.
How long does a bench take?
Made to order in our London workshop. Lead time is confirmed with your quotation and usually sits within the build window of a full project.
